For Beloved One Mandelic Acid Review

I came across this brand, For Beloved One Mandelic Acid at a popular beauty shop. I was searching for an alternative when the glycolic acid toner I normally purchase was unavailable.

Before I bought the item, I tried to learn more about the brand and the main ingredient of the product (mandelic acid) first. Box was a bit deformed, probably during the handling and shipping process.

Mandelic Acid

Shortly explained, mandelic acid is one of the alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). This one is naturally derived from bitter almonds. Mandelic acid can be used as a daily exfoliator; and like other AHAs, it helps make the skin firmer by encouraging collagen production. Firmer skin reduces and delays signs of aging including fine lines and wrinkles. But unlike another AHA (glycolic acid), this one doesn't cause pigmentation and discoloration so it's actually recommended for us with darker (non-Caucasian) skin.

For Beloved One

As for the brand --- For Beloved One is a Taiwanese company founded by Margaret Wu. Most of their skincare products are developed for Asian skins.

I tried to find more information on their website, www.forbelovedone.combut it's on Chinese even if you select the English language version (add /?lang=en after the URL). The Facebook page maybe friendlier to International customers if you want to take a look. See

As for this specific product, it does what's expected from the main ingredient, mandelic acid. It is safe enough to use daily, even for an exfoliator (which is normally advised to use once or twice per week only). As for pricing (₱1,642.00 at the time of purchase), its okay size-wise, at least, although there are other similar products which are technically cheaper.

Related Products

Related products, 20% Mandelic Acid Renewal Serum (Advanced also available) and the new formulation, Advanced Hyaluronic Acid GHK-Cu Moisturizing Toner are also worth trying or at least learning more about before buying.

Since the items were snapped alongside each other, another product is on the photo, Edible Beauty N3 Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum.

Where to Buy

For Beloved One Mandelic Acid is available in major online shops like eBay, Amazon, and Sephora as well as other beauty and makeup stores.
