A Cup of Coffee Later...Some Thoughts on Revitol Natural Skincare Products First

You know, it's taken me a long time to write this post. In fact, I was so eager to get going with it. I started it whilst sitting in Starbucks down the street. I'd just ordered a latte and something occurred to me, as I sat down.

What's left in the world that's natural?

It sounds like an obvious thing really; God knows there's been a continued and hard marketed rebellion over artificial products. From the food we eat, to the clothes we wear, or the skin products we put on our bodies. Artificial has been slammed to the ground. Or has it? This question got me thinking so hard about the answer I decided to write this post right away, kind of silly considering I was sitting in a packed coffee shop. It would of helped had I taken my tablet as well, but my phone was with me and off I went making notes.

The War On Artificial

I sat and watched the people around me, how they dressed, what they were ordering. We live in an incredibly manufactured world to be honest. Very little of what we use or eat hasn't been produced by either mixing things together or creating it somewhere. I suppose most of this is irrelevant but there is something that does, and always has bothered me. Make-up and skin care is not just something we use everyday, it's something we actually put on our skin. I find it astounding that people spend hours searching for the right kind of food to put inside their bodies and then don't think twice about putting harmful chemicals on their skin. Crazy really.

Long Term Effects

One thing I’ve always been mindful of is the adverse effects of skincare products over time. The truth is, we don't really know what the effects are. The skincare companies do have what they call testing periods but these consist of just a few weeks or months of tests. It's like a cream cake. One cream cake won't hurt you; one cream cake every day for a month isn't going to kill you either. But a cream cake every day for 5 years will have a slow burn effect on your health.

Slow Burn Effect

That's what I'm worried about. That long lasting effect that can take years and years to see results. This is the reason I stopped using make up and skincare products made from chemicals and artificial products. I just didn't know what was going to happen long term. I mean they say sun is the leading cause of skin cancer, but how can they be so sure?

As I sat and watched people move in and out of the coffee shop, I realized I had to get home and get this post finished. It’s kind of important that if we see something, something that could be harmful to others, then we have a duty to tell people. Of course, I don't know for sure, I mean even the experts don't know (so they say), but it seems obvious to me.

Artificial vs. Natural

If you have two products, one made of chemicals and man made ingredients, and another that's made with natural ingredients, plant extracts and such, isn't it obvious which one is better? Let me ask you something, right out of the gate, just from me to you. If you put a skin cream on your face and within 7 days you looked 10 years younger, would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

Let me answer that for you. It would be catastrophic. I mean what would they be putting in something like that to make it so damn effective? At least with all natural products like Revitol, the effect is a nice natural one rather than some instant chemical shock to the system. I've used some of their products and believed in their effectiveness that I even became a seller at some point in time.

A Forum Member Shared Her Secret

It was back in 2012 when I first heard about this company and their range of products while looking for a scar remover product. I stumbled upon one of their products on a forum as recommended by a previous user. They haven't been around a long while, only just over a decade, but that's not the point. What I love about Revitol is the completely natural ingredients. Their skin creams, scar creams and actually everything they make are created with things you could go and pull out of a forest. Well, maybe not a forest but you know what I mean. At some point, everything they make was growing in the ground.

No Worries

It kind of helped me when I found this company, that all worries I had about chemicals in skin care products, they just went away. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should run out today and throw everything in your bathroom cabinet in the trash and all will be well. For a start, who am I to tell anyone what to do? Truth is a lot of factors can play a part in your overall health and well being. But it seems pretty clear cut to me. If you want a healthier lifestyle, you cut out all the man made stuff from your life and focus on getting down to natural products.

If that’s what you eat then fine, if it's your clothes and wearing more cottons, all the better. If it means throwing out your crazy chemical peel face masks or the anti-wrinkle cream that has words in the ingredients straight from a sci-fi novel, then just do it.

Watching all those people in Starbucks made me think. How much man made stuff is in contact with human living skin right now in this room?

  7. Natural products are the "in" thing right now, but there are people who are sensitive to "natural" or organic products even.
I was a victim of "natural products" once and thought the products will solve my acne problem, but in the end, it made it worse!

  8. Yeah we don't really know the long term effects of skin care products. Ordinary lotion of Nivea works fine with me though. Just to keep my skin a little bit healthy. :-) But that's all for me. Nothing else. :-)

  10. I think people should be cautious not only on what they eat but on what they apple externally to our skin. It's always safe to go with natural means.

  11. I am for natural ingredients when it comes to body treatment and wellness, there are too many chemicals in the food we take, the air we breath, etc. Everything is polluted and our skin suffers the most. Revitol seems like an awesome natural skincare product!

  14. Natural is really good as long as its true that these things ate natural and hypoallergenic. You can never know what effects the perfume or coloring can do to you.

  15. I love and use organic, all natural skincare products and I see the difference in my skin and what others tell me. I'm glad you observed the shift in our communities and the need to stop and reconsider our choices.

  16. I try to use natural and organic products be it in skincare, bodycare and haircare. But of course, I still can't stop using some products with laboratory-manufactured ingredients. To balance it out though, I try my best to follow a whole foods diet whenever I can. But thank you for this post. It's an eye-opener and a great introduction too to Revitol.
