Kids Universe at SM Mall of Asia is one of the biggest
children’s play areas in the Philippines. The biggest (I assume based on
observation) is at SM North EDSA.
Kids Universe offers arcades, games, mini-rides (inside
and outside), play area for little tikes, and a large play area for bigger kids.
There’s also a snack bar situated inside for ice cream, deserts, and drinks
after an hour or so of play.
The Good
The whole section (adjacent to the Department Store’s
exit) actually offers several ride opportunities for kids inside the mall. A
few walks outside and you’ll find more rides through the SM MOA by the Bay
including the MOA Eye. Your kids will definitely enjoy a few minutes or rides
at each stop in this portion of the mall.
The Bad
Each ride is paid separately with adult companions
required and needs payment too. Even Kids Universe is quite expensive by the
hour. There is also a need for socks (as with all other play pens for kids in
other SM malls) you will have to buy in case you don’t bring any. The adult
companion is paid too.
Recommendation
But if you’d like your kids to make the most out of MOA,
make sure to drop by Kids Universe and enjoy every ride nearby and outside the
mall.
