Other than Human Nature, Face Shop is another brand which advocates the use of natural ingredients with their line of makeup and beauty products.
The Face Shop is a leading brand for makeup and beauty essentials which originated from South Korea and is now making waves around the world.
In this post, I'd like to share my personal thoughts about some of the products I've tried from their shop. While there are several products seen on the images I included in this post, let me just review some of the notable ones in the order of how much I loved them.
This product is manufactured to hydrate the skin, minimize pore appearance using natural ingredients such as mushroom and ivy extract, acacia collage, betaine for moisture and more.
This product is labelled with 50+ SPF50+ PA+++. The tag signifies that this is a perfect item due to the 50+ sun protection factor (SPF) and the PA+++ label which means that it offers very high protective measures (compared with the lower PA+ or even PA++).
As we all know, we need sunscreen products to protect against skin ageing and worst, skin cancer.
This item contains ecologically certified sunflower sprout extract with no animal sourced ingredients.
For higher effectiveness, apply 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours. It also helps to avoid or at least minimize sun exposure between 10AM to 2PM when the sun's rays are highly concentrated.
This is ideal for everyone with oily and acne prone skin. It contains tea tree oil which is used against pimples due to it's antibacterial properties.
I got this for a discounted price due to a promo at that time.
There's not much introduction needed for aloe vera as it's no stranger to skincare. On a personal note, I really love applying it along with lotion for the body or a face cream whenever I lack sleep. It's soothing and moisturizing.
The active ingredient, Keratin, is common for hair products. It's a protein which helps protect hair from stress and damage down to the cellular level, particularly the epithelial cells.
The Chia seed set was included as a free sampler during one purchase. There are actually quite a lot of free items, promotional items, and discounted products.
Going back to Chia seed, the box contains a toner and a cream; both of which are just okay products but not the types I will re-purchase. It's the first five on this list which I will definitely keep coming back for.
It's not really effective but what should I complain about? It was also given free along with the green tea mask on the image below.
