How Orders are Processed at Lazada.com.ph

After this successful transaction from Lazada.com.ph, I didn't think twice about purchasing another item from the site and hopefully won't experience any hassle which others have complained about. 

But did you ever wonder how are orders processed? What happens from the moment one orders through the site up until the item is delivered? This post can help.  


how orders are processed at lazada


Based on the order tracking system online, these are the steps (at least based on my recent order):

Day 1 - After ordering, Lazada will send a confirmation email stating that your order will be first verified. 
Day 2 - The verification is successful. Order is being processed. 
Day 3 - The authorized merchant or seller prepares the item. 
Day 4 - Item is shipped and you will just have to wait for 1-3 business days for actual delivery. It's longer outside Metro Manila. 

By the way, you can conveniently view the order status just by clicking the link listed at their email without having to login to your Lazada member account.

    1. Did you register an account or used the express order (not registered)? If yes, double check the email address you've used. In some cases, it may take sometime to receive the email. Try checking your junk/spam email folder as well. If all else fails, contact their support.

  2. Will the order really come? I ordered Dec. 30, 2015 and says my item will arrive on Jan 5-6. It's lunch now and there's no message telling me that the item is on it's way.

    1. Check the order status. There should be an update almost per day about the status of your order such as if it is being processed at the fulfillment center, out for delivery, etc. The updates are sent via email and text.

I paid my order through helloPay last night and my mobile phone received a message saying that the oreder has been received and is going through verification and and order confirmation email was sent to my mailbox. I still don't receive any order confirmation email, is my order still be delivered to me?

    7. The text is just a confirmation about your order. There should be several texts that will also follow suit providing you with updates about your order. Most likely, your order did not go through. Better contact Lazada for details.

  8. Good day! I just want to ask something. I recently ordered a Portable Vacuum Cleaner but then once I ordered I realized that the email I gave was wrong or spelled incorrectly.     1. Yes, I'm sure it will be processed. But all updates are sent to the email you've used. I suggest you contact Lazada about the matter.

    1. That's dependent with the seller. There is an expected date of delivery which is often two weeks. I'm sure you don't want to wait that long before contacting Lazada so you might as well contact them now.

    1. Not necessarily. It just means that the item is ready for delivery. It's most likely going to be delivered the next day.

  21. I have ordered an item in Lazada last July 30 and until now, the update says "processing". It has already been verified but I still don't get any updates via text or email. My order said it will come by Aug 3-8. It hasn't moved up yet to shipped. What should I do now? thanks.

    1. Did you register or checked out as guest? Either way, dapat may email or SMS confirmation. Kung wala, it's not processed. Contact Lazada customer support for more information.

    1. Yes. They will contact you and offer other options in case the item is out of stock. Lazada will first try to check if other sellers offer the same product.

    1. There is no confirmation needed from the buyer actually. The confirmation email sent is Lazada confirming that your order is acknowledged.

    1. That's odd. Usually, there's no need to confirm. They just acknowledge your order. Check the email source. Lazada ba talaga yan?

    1. In most cases, they don't text. Wala ring specific time. If you are not available, ask someone to accept the delivery in your behalf through an authorization letter and your ID.

    1. If it's COD (cash on delivery), the confirmation email is just for Lazada to confirm that they have received your order. There's no need for you to confirm anything.

    1. The first one is already ready sa kanilang warehouse and waiting to be picked by the delivery service. The other one has already left the warehouse and en route (pero depende pa rin sa delivery service).

    1. Kung hindi naman "ships from abroad" yung item, there's no need to confirm. You will just be updated regularly about the status of your order, i.e. once it's processed, shipped, and delivered.

  54. Ang hirap na mag order sa Lazada ngayon. noon maganda services nila ngayon hindi na.
    Wala ng tracking number like LBC ang binibigay nila so ikaw Walang alam qng saan na ang package mo
    i ordered items para sa shop q. 9-20-16 estimated dilevery 9-28-16.. when i check 9-30-16 via lazada contact help they replied to my email na back to warehouse yung item ko kasi failed to dilever.
    Bakit ganun halos 30 times na ako nag oordered sakanila
    So ginawa ko as of now i ordered via credit para pick up nalang ako ang nangyari na deducted nila yung price sa credit card then after a minute my nag email na na declined dw yung ordered.
    Kaya sabi anu.. kakainis na talaga.. kung meron lang ibang site na makukunan di na talaga ako bibili sakanila kasi sa bad services nila ngayon. FLoating paraw yung pera ko.. Hayz.. Now i order Via COD again i hope gagandahan na nila ang services nila..

    1. Sadly, nagkakaroon ng ng ganyang issues dahil sa mga sellers din. Quality control is not too effective na by Lazada towards their approved sellers.

    1. I don't think na matutuloy pa yung order. Most of the time, hindi pa aabot sa due date pag within Metro Manila. It's up to you kung ifollowup mo pa sa Lazada.

    I ordered last oct. 2 at around 2 am via debit card, and shortly after I received an email stating that I have to respond to either the sms or the call.

    They never called. I did receive an sms once from sender LAZADA, which simply stated that my order has been received and is undergoing verification process. I didn't think I had to respond to that.

    My order is still "processing" until now. Was I supposed to respond to the sms, after all? It's been 2 days, has my order been cancelled? Will my payment be returned to my account?

    1. There used to be a return form but since it's no longer included with every order delivered, it is accomplished online. But since you did not register, just drop by an LBC branch and ask. I'm not sure if you can bypass the need for the form online or if LBC will accept the item but that's the only option you have at this point. Otherwise, you can contact Lazada and ask if there is any other means to resolve this.

  68. Hello. I already ordered several items from lazada thru COD and so far i received all my orders in good condition and within their estimated time of delivery. But last 11/17/16 for the first time i ordered a gaming keyboard that ships from abroad and payed the item thru their hellopay option via 711. I received a notification sms and e-mail from hellopay saying "Your payment has been successfully processed" and a notification from lazada quote "your order # has been placed has been placed on Thursday November 17, 2016 via hellopay".

    The ETA of the keyboard is on 12/15-20/16. When i used their order tracking it still says dated 11/18/16 quote "Thank you for shopping with Lazada! Your order has been received and is going through verification process. Next update will be sent to you via email soon" Should i be worried about this? Or is this normal with their items that ships from abroad? Do you have an experience using their hellopay service to share to us how long does it really take for the next notification from their order tracking to come? Thank you

    1. Kung hindi naman nila need i-verify, okay lang. Madalang lang naman mag-verify. In most cases, no need. Pero kung nakatanggap ka ng text saying you need to verify, then do so. Sa text pwede mo na gawin, no need sa email.

    1. Yup. They only need verification if there's anything missing in your details. I have never received any verification email/SMS. Yung usual note lang na "In the event that the information you provided is incomplete, a validation may be sent through phone call or SMS as part of Lazada's order verification requirement..."

      The fastest in my experience is the next day. For example, here's one from my recent experience this month (November 2016):

      05/11/2016 22:04:08 Your item(s) has been shipped with LEX (Lazada Express) and will reach you soon.
      04/11/2016 13:29:56 Your item(s) is being packed and ready for shipment at our merchant's warehouse.

    1. No. LEX will never ask for such details. They already know your name and address. If the delivery personnel is lost, they will often call or text asking for landmarks in case they are not familiar with your location.

  80. Nagtext po Lazada sa'kin saying na na-receive na raw nila ung order ko tapos may binigay pong link to proceed. Nung chineck ko naman po ung link, 404 Page Not Found po nakalagay. Paano po yun? Cash on delivery po ako.

I have received an email saying items will be delivered via LEX today (12 December) yet no items were delivered. This is the last day on the timeframe given by Lazada (Dec 8-13) yet no courier contacts me up to this time. Can the delivery be delayed? Thank you.

    1. Quite possibly, yes. I have no idea if they deliver on a Sunday. Most couriers don't. If it's past the ETA, you should definitely "try" contacting them. Try, since some people are unable to reach them.
