With the initial phase of TPLEX or the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La
Union Expressway open (all the way to Rosales, Pangasinan), it’s cutting down
Baguio-Manila trip to 6 hours. This varies of course depending on local town or
city traffic. The trip consists of drive time through several expressways
including NLEX and SCTEX.

TPLEX is adjacent and actually connected upon exit from
SCTEX. Exit points include Victoria, Pura (for Gerona), Ramos (for Paniqui),
and Anao (for Moncada) in Tarlac; Carmen, Urdaneta, Pozurrubio for Pangasinan;
and Rosario, La Union. TPLEX is scheduled to extend all the way to Ilocos Sur
and Ilocos Norte soon as announced by Pres. Noynoy Aquino last March.
