It’s Showtime Kalokalike Face 2 had been culminated
last Saturday. I didn’t really followed this segment until the grand finals. And
I only have two words to describe the contest: “nakakaloka talaga!”

The kalokalikes (look alikes) really resembled their
celebrity counterparts. While some of them were lacking in execution or
portrayal, many were worthy of applause. In fact, the top 5 selected contenders (from the 15) based on the judge’s deliberation were the same ones I’ve chosen.
Bamboo and Abra look-alikes were runners up (among the
top 5), Mr. Bean was on the first elevated podium, Apl de Ap was on the next,
and Nicki Minaj was the ultimate kalokalike. She really looked like Ms. Minaj.
She sang and danced like her too, not to mention her facial awestruck
expression complete with the ever tantalizing blinking eyes.
