A Simple Exercise on Gratitude

Of all the exercises I’ve learned from a life coach, what I appreciate the most is the practice of being grateful. Gratitude lets us appreciate life more, particularly its blessings. In turn, we become less heavy laden with burdens.


For this exercise, you need a small notebook that’s at least appealing, if not artistic looking. You will use the notebook to write down three major blessings you’ve received for the day. It’s similar to keeping a journal but apart from merely narrating experiences or expressing thoughts daily, you learn gratitude for everything you should be thankful for. This life will never be rid of problems but being thankful eases the issues and helps you see life on a more positive perspective.

So amidst worries in life, let us be thankful for all things wonderful.
